Data Processing Agreement
A practical MVP reference for how project data processing should be handled and formalized.
Purpose
Some projects may involve business data, customer records, documents, website analytics, workflow data, or other information provided by a client. A project-specific agreement or statement of work should define what data is processed and why.
Processing role
For client project work, Borden Solutions generally processes project data to design, build, support, and improve the requested system. The client remains responsible for confirming the data can be used for the project and for giving accurate instructions.
Service providers
Projects may rely on hosting, databases, email, analytics, AI services, file storage, API providers, and other vendors. Provider choices should be documented for each project when sensitive or regulated data is involved.
Security and deletion
Borden Solutions aims to use practical access controls, least-privilege permissions, secure credentials, and reasonable retention practices. Data deletion, export, and retention expectations should be captured in the signed project agreement when needed.
